Resource experts will discuss the role network connectivity, land use mixes, densities, building & facility design and travel behavior play from the development of a long-range regional plan to project design and construction.

Interactive Exercise using info from field trip and tools. Each group will work on proposals for one of the sites visited.

All groups will reconvene and report out on the strategies developed for integrating the new rail line and the surrounding land uses including redevelopment options.

A panel of practitioners will describe their processes including: what technical tools you need to create the vision; how to get all the stakeholders (citizens to implementers) values into the equation; and how stakeholders ensure accountability and consistency with the adopted vision.
